Amlin Plus sponsors a section at Brightling Park International Horse Trials.
Brightling Park Horse Trials has been running since 1987. In 1993, the event added an Advanced section to the competition, attracting the best three day event riders and horses in the world. Brightling Park Horse Trial entrants compete in three different phases: Dressage, Cross-country and Show Jumping. Four different levels of riders are represented: Pre-novice, Novice, Intermediate and Advanced. In the past, over 400 horses have competed, many of which are from South East England.
The event has gone from strength to strength every year.
The Amlin Plus Eventing Grand Prix is a great opportunity for us to show our support of this top-level British equestrian competition.
Hickstead Eventing Grand Prix is a real crowd pleaser as it is the only competition in the UK that sees event riders and show jumpers battling it out head to head over a mixed course of traditional show jumps and cross country obstacles. Jumps include the Derby Bank and the Hickstead Lake, as well as cross-country obstacles including hedges, sheep pens and the Bartlett Woodland Workshop, a notoriously challenging trio of fences.
