Brightling Park Horse Trials
Amlin Plus sponsors the CIC2* class at the Brightling Park Horse Trials. The hugely popular event in East Sussex, which will be held on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 July 2014, regularly attracts more than 400 entries from all over the world, including renowned Olympians Mark Todd, Pippa Funnell, Tina Cook and Zara Phillips. This year Amlin Plus have sponsored a record £7,000 prize money, with £2500 going to the winner of the CIC2* class. Brightling Park Horse Trials have been running since 1987 and sees entrants compete in three different phases: Dressage, Cross-country and Show Jumping.
Amlin Plus is sponsorsing the all new Eventers’ Challenge at the Royal International Horse Show (28th July – 02 August 2015) held at Hickstead. The event is back by popular demand and is the feature class to be held on Thursday 30th July. This year the class has an exciting new format, which is only open to event riders, with more technical and demanding rustic cross-country fences. The event, previously known as The Eventing Grand Prix, has been held at Hickstead since 1998 and has seen numerous top riders win the title, including Pippa Funnell, Andrew Nicholson, Lucinda Fredericks and showjumper Michael Whitaker.
